Jet-Powered Interceptor Drones Enter The Counter-UAS Fight
Jet-Powered Interceptor Drones Enter The Counter-UAS Fight
Propeller-driven interceptor drones have made air defence tighter and cheaper, but faster attack drones are exposing their limits. Many have slower climb and pursuit rates than their targets, leaving little room to recover from a late launch.
With shorter engagement windows, defenders need interceptors that can climb faster and catch targets before they reach protected assets. Jet propulsion provides that advantage.
Advantages Jet Interceptor Drones Bring
Jet-powered interceptor drones give defenders greater speed and more opportunities to engage, at a cost that scales with mass attacks. They expand the interception window without forcing militaries to spend high-end missiles on every incoming drone.
